Sales Tax Exemption
Green Paper Products collects and remits sales tax for sales in Ohio, California, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey and New York.
If you're purchasing products for use in these states and have a reseller tax exemption you may be exempt from sales tax. We can flag your Green Paper Products account so that you won't be charged sales tax at checkout. Your account name is the email you use to submit the request.
We offer an expedited way to make your first order tax exempt if you qualify. During checkout, just click the "Exempt?" link and complete our tax exempt form. This will allow your intial purchase to be exempt from sales tax.
For tax exempt status, please email a signed copy of your resale certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org. All applications must have a valid vendors number. Once received, we will adjust your account and confirm via email within one business day. Please include the following information in your email:
- Business Name
- Business Address
- Contact Name
- Contact Phone Number
Below are examples of the documents we need to be completed by state. If your state is not listed, we will not collect sales tax at checkout. Required forms for non-profits may vary.
