Join us in crafting this crowd-pleasing appetizer that's perfect for gatherings, parties, or a flavorful low-carb snack.

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (you can use a low-carb or avocado-based mayo)

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Optional toppings: crumbled bacon, smoked paprika, chopped chives, or paprika for garnish

Instructions:

1. Hard-Boil the Eggs:

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 9-12 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately transfer the eggs to an ice water bath to cool.

2. Peel the Eggs:

  • Once the eggs are cool, peel them. Gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then roll it between your hands to loosen the shell. Peel the shell under running water to make it easier.

3. Cut and Scoop:

  • Cut each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Arrange the egg white halves on a serving platter.

4. Make the Filling:

  • Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are crumbly. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar (if using), salt, and black pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until you have a smooth and creamy filling.

5. Fill the Egg Whites:

  • Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.

6. Add Toppings:

  • Get creative with your toppings. You can sprinkle crumbled bacon, smoked paprika, chopped chives, or paprika on top of the deviled eggs for added flavor and visual appeal.

7. Chill and Serve:

  • Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the filling to set.

8. Enjoy:

  • Serve your Low-Carb Classic Deviled Eggs as a delightful appetizer or snack, perfect for any occasion.

These Low-Carb Classic Deviled Eggs are a versatile appetizer that you can customize with your favorite toppings. Whether you opt for the smoky goodness of bacon or the subtle heat of smoked paprika, these deviled eggs are sure to be a crowd-pleaser while staying low in carbs.
